The Adventure Begins
My journey started in the Eastern Himalayas, where I was born in a bamboo forest. As I grew up, I noticed fewer and fewer red pandas in my home range.
This inspired me to embark on a global adventure to learn about the challenges facing red pandas and to find ways to help protect my species for future generations.
Yuzu's Travel Log
Nepal - The Beginning
My journey began in the misty mountains of Nepal, where I worked with local researchers to study wild red panda populations. We set up camera traps and collected data on habitat use and bamboo consumption patterns.
China - Bamboo Forests
I traveled to the Sichuan province in China to learn about bamboo forest management. Here, I collaborated with botanists to identify the best bamboo species for reforestation projects and helped plant new bamboo groves.
India - Community Outreach
In the Arunachal Pradesh region of India, I focused on community education. I visited schools and villages to teach people about red pandas and worked with local communities to develop eco-tourism initiatives that support conservation.
Global - Digital Ambassador
Today, I'm traveling the world as a digital ambassador for red pandas! I'm using technology to connect with people everywhere, sharing stories and research to inspire global action for red panda conservation.
