About Red Pandas
Red pandas are adorable mammals native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. Despite their name and appearance, they're not closely related to giant pandas!
These endangered animals face threats from habitat loss, poaching, and climate change. There are fewer than 10,000 red pandas left in the wild.
